(no subject)

Have you ever had an otherwise brilliant idea if it wasn't for the fact that actually acting on it scares the living daylights out of you?

In this particular case, I'm referring to handing in a CD of original melodies and poetry instead of an essay but I hope people will answer the above question from a broader set of possibilities.

I'm sending my prof an e-mail to pose her the question.
