I'll stop calling it "community" when you stop doing air quotation marks when saying I'm "straight"*. You could do yourself a service and not insult the person doing a presentation explaining to 'phobes why they should respect you regardless of your sexuality.

Later,

The tranny who visualized ducktaped around your cisgendered mouth

Dear egostitical twirp in the corner,

You had no idea I was trans until I disclosed. My voice does not give me away. You assumed, like everyone one else there, that I was gay. My speech pattern, when speaking English, is that of a French Canadian but it gets mistaken for "gay" all the time. (every single francophone male in my extended team at HBC has been asked if they were gay) I have no interest in "flattening" my speech pattern because of your ignorance. Don't lie just because you're embarassed you can't tell a transguy apart from a cisgendered one. Transmen don't read each other even when we've agreed to meet up somewhere and are looking out for each other. Not to mention the guys I assumed were trans (at trans event) who were cisgendered. There are no cues, get over it and move on.

Sincerely,

The FTM who "fooled" you

*I don't come out as queer during workshops for a miriade of reasons.
