Thank goodness I checked the website. I was actually going to check the address and then noticed "please RSVP". There was less then half an hour before training began so I thought best be safe than sorry. "I'm sorry but we are a women only organization."
"but I was told transexuals could volunteer"
"only those who ID as women"
"so MTFs but not FTMs?"
"yes"

Needless to say the conversation ended soon thereafter.
I don't think she could have been colder or less welcoming if she tried.
