What do my ovaries have to do with the inside of my tooth?

I went to my consult with an endodontic specialist. The take-in questionnaire asked if I had a mental disorder, a psychiatrict disorder, any medication taken etc... It asked women if they were menopausal (among other things). I asked what importance a mental disorder status. They ask if my medication was for a chemical imbalance. (way to assume) I tried reasoning but to no avail. The relationship between menopause and a tooth ache? It didn't pertain to me so I left that blank. (Can you imagine?)

The specialist gave me the impression she wanted to castrate me for the sole crime of being a guy. She took offence to my menopause question. That was between snit assumptions about someone without insurance. I asked the price difference between local and general anaesthetics, opted for the later but she wants me to try the former. I assured I'd pay the difference but apparently if you don't have insurance, don't bother offering to pay more. (Sorry brianspeak, no picking up Matt in a daze!) I will try under local on Valentine's Day and if I can't handle it will we reschedule under general.

Why will I go to her for the procedure? Because I can't afford a 3rd consult or wait more than a week to have this stupid thing taken care of. On the up shot, my efforts to not deal with this at work saw a 40% rise in productivity. Figures.

Studio 54 is back!

If you've never been, there is no better way to discover this magnificient event than to be a part of it! Never done drag before but always wanted to? Perfect! That's how many of us (Skylar Rocket, Boi Blue, Milo de Milo, myself as well as countless others) began doing drag :)

The host this year will be Farra N. Hyte. There will be a panel with 5 celebrity judges (Candice, Take Me Spears, Milo De Milo, Brian Bedside Manor and Jude Tate) to decide who wins MONEY and all the GLORY!!

We are currently seeking performers/contestants. Studio 54 will take place on Thursday, February 23rd at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. We want solo performances and group acts. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 solo performers and the top group act. You may only submit one song per category, i.e. you may do one solo act and one group act but not two solos or two group acts.
