I went to the Ontario Bicentenary Exhibit today. It's free and open until December 31st. I'd be up to going back if anyone's interested. It's not long (~an hour) but it's very informative. It's on Bay street, South of Weslesley at the corner of Grovenor, you can't miss it.
The 1st smaller room was a bit too "look at how much better Canada was than the US because we did this 1st" for my liking but the main room put things in a more balance perspective and taught me some of the history that my racist education omitted.
There are special public events, also free of charge.
I will try to make the film and lecture, anyone want to come with?
